Our programs and services are available in a variety of settings and natural environments including homes, schools, and our child-friendly clinic. Our experts implement evidenced-based strategies for a collaborative and productive model of learning.  WPTS provides highly qualified professionals that support children's developmental needs through continuity of care and developmentally appropriate practices.

Insurance Coverage

We currently accept Medicaid and several other insurance plans.  Please contact the office for details.

Private pay and out-of-network plans are accepted. We currently have additional contracts pending. For further information or assistance with insurance authorization, please call our office at (772) 584-3888.

Referrals are received from various professionals including doctors, teachers, and other therapists. If you have a concern, first discuss it with your physician and request a referral for evaluation, then call us to set up an appointment.

What is the difference between an Occupational Therapist and a Physical Therapist?

Although their knowledge base is similar, occupational therapists typically focus on fine motor skills (i.e., grasping, handwriting), visual-motor skills, oral motor abilities (i.e., food refusal, food selectivity, oral motor dysfunction) and sensory integration. Physical therapists are specialized in gross motor skills (i.e., rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, jumping), functional mobility skills, postural alignment (including the legs and feet), and gait (walking).
